DESCRIPTION:An afternoon of activities hosted by Gamarch (Gamlingay Archaeology Group) and provided by archaeologists from the Museum of London Archaeology (MOLA).\nActivities include seed identification (archaeobotany), and some osteology activities (bones) – with a replica skeleton plus finds for people to handle and the latest information about the stories being uncovered when the material is analysed. There are dig boxes for younger participants – and those young at heart – to have a go at excavating and identifying finds and dating the pottery.\n
