Gamarch – People & Plants of the A14
An afternoon of activities hosted by Gamarch (Gamlingay Archaeology Group) and provided by archaeologists from the Museum of London Archaeology (MOLA).
Activities include seed identification (archaeobotany), and some osteology activities (bones) – with a replica skeleton plus finds for people to handle and the latest information about the stories being uncovered when the material is analysed. There are dig boxes for younger participants – and those young at heart – to have a go at excavating and identifying finds and dating the pottery.
